The first investment of the Northern Greece Investment Fund, totaling € 1,000,000, in the company Pragma IoT

The financing of Pragma IoT SA, a company – technoblast of the National Center for Research and Technological Development – CERTH by the Northern Greece Investment Fund (NGIF.gr), with a total amount of 1,000,000 euros, was announced today. In more detail, as the announcement states, Pragma IoT SA, founded at the end of 2017 in Thessaloniki, is a spin off company of the National Center for Research and Technological Development (CERTH). Pragma IoT, provides innovative Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and other related services to organizations and businesses. At the core of its services is a dynamic Internet of Things platform that covers the full “Collection” cycle – using multiple communication protocols, “Storage” – with optimized data formatting, automatic “Analysis” – with in-depth machine learning techniques, and ” Presentation of “big data” coming from sensors, devices, gateways and other sources of information (ERP systems, databases, etc.).

The company provides solutions in the sectors of Industry 4.0, Smart Cities, Utilities (Electricity, Gas, Water), Environment, Agriculture, Shipping, etc. In less than four years the company has entered into partnerships with over 30 companies in Greece and the international market and has developed a team of executives – partners and well-trained hardware and software engineers. Northern Greece Investment Fund (www.ngif.gr) was founded in 2021 and is the only growth Fund based in Thessaloniki.
