The first Milenial Saint of the Catholic Church: 15 -year -old Carlo Akindis is sanctified on Sunday by Pope Leo

A teenager of Italian descent, born in Britain, who died of leukemia in 2006, will take place on Sunday the first Catholic saint of the Millenial generation, at a ceremony by Pope Leo in St. Peter’s Square in the presence of tens of thousands of believers. Carlo Akudis, who died at the age of 15, had used his knowledge in planning to create websites to spread his faith in a story that has inspired many young Catholics. Millenial are the people who were born between 1981 and 1995. The ceremony was originally scheduled for April, but was postponed to Pope Francis’ death. Leo, who was elected in May, will be chaired for the first time at such a ceremony.
