The first in Russia plant of the Kronshtadt company for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles of aircraft and helicopter types was created in Dubna near Moscow. The press service of the enterprise said that all construction work has already been completed, they have been going on since April this year.
The TASS news agency reports that the main production workshops of the Kronstadt company are located on a site with an area of ​​more than 50 hectares. The Dubna Machine-Building Plant named after N.P. Fedorov (DMZ) is also located there. Kronstadt has three workshops at its disposal. In the first, parts will be manufactured and painted, in the second, the units will be assembled, and in the third, final assembly will be carried out. Equipment has already been purchased, and work is underway to launch production. In addition, 14 buildings were reconstructed on the territory of the DMZ, where work will also be carried out for two enterprises at once.
The assembly of the first UAV complexes will begin this month. Additionally, more than 1.5 thousand jobs will be created in the region.
