We have already published excerpts from the first reviews of the Rivian R1T, which is the first mass-produced electric pickup. And now a video has been published on YouTube in which one of the first owners of the Rivian R1T decided to check out its popular place called “The Gates of Hell”.

This route is located in the town of Moab in eastern Utah, USA and looks more like a gorge than a road on which a car can pass. Specially prepared vehicles are regularly tested at this site, however, in the case of the Rivian R1T, a factory copy was used with branded All-Terrain tires without additional modifications.
Rivian R1T received four electric motors with a total capacity of up to 750 hp. In addition, a battery located at the bottom of the hull moves the vehicle’s center of gravity downward compared to conventional vehicles equipped with combustion engines, so the Rivian R1T is less likely to tip over on such routes.
Recall that the Rivian R1T costs about $ 70,000.
