The first smartphone with a 200 MP camera: the monstrous Motorola Moto X30 Pro is presented

According to rumors, recently several manufacturers have been preparing a smartphone with a 200 megapixel camera, but it was Motorola that released the first such gadget – Moto X30 Pro. The novelty has received advanced technical characteristics, but, of course, it is the main camera that stands out.

The main camera uses a Samsung HP1 sensor that supports two levels of binning (combining adjacent pixels to create one large one): 4-in-1 for 50-megapixel shots and 16-in-1 for 12-megapixel shots. It is complemented by two other cameras: a 50-megapixel wide-angle with a 117° lens and autofocus (supports macro shooting at a distance of up to 2.5 cm) and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with a 2x optical zoom.

The screen also stands out: it’s a 6.7-inch 10-bit panel with an unusual 144Hz frequency, supporting HDR10+ and DCI-P3 color space. The manufacturer paid special attention to eye protection, there is a DC Dimming option and double SGS certification.
