Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has posted a short video on its Twitter page showing a still unannounced smartphone with a retractable main camera.
Smartphones with retractable front cameras never became popular, although Xiaomi, Redmi, OnePlus and other companies tried to produce them. But smartphones with a retractable main camera have not yet been. Oppo claims the system is its own design.
According to one version, the camera extends when the user selects the appropriate shooting mode, for example, for optical zoom.
