Happy Gilmore is back. This Wednesday (25), the Netflix released the first preview of “Um Maluco no Golfe 2”, a sequel starring Adam Sandler .
The comedy star appears in the first teaser, which also highlights Julie Bowen (“Modern Family”) and Travis Kelce. The sequel will be directed by Kyle Newacheck (“Mystery in the Mediterranean“).
The plot has not yet been released, and details about the new cast have not been revealed either. “The Crazy Golfer” tells the story of Happy Gilmore, played by Sandler, who wants to be a hockey player, but discovers that he has a special talent for golf.
He starts earning money playing the sport to help his grandmother, who is about to lose her house due to unpaid taxes. However, its clumsy and irreverent approach does not appeal to traditional, elegant golfers.
In Brazil, “Um Maluco no Golfe” is available for streaming on Globoplay . “A Crazy Golfer 2” premieres on Netflix in 2025, on a date to be announced.
