The Game Awards 2024: Astro Bot wins Game of the Year; see list of winners

THE The Game Awards 2024 one of the main gaming awards in the world, revealed the winners of the year during the awards ceremony on Thursday night (12).

The event, considered “the Oscar of games”, chooses the winning video games in each category through a combined vote between the specialized voting jury (with 90% weight) and public voting by fans (10%).

The main prize, which chooses the Game of the Year was handed over to the “Astro Bot“ which competed against “Balatro”, “Black Myth: Wukong”, “Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree”, “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth” and “Metaphor: Refantazio”.
