The giant Redmi K40 flies out of the building’s facade: a realistic 3D advertisement for a new smartphone

Last night Redmi company not only presented new smartphones of the Redmi K40 line, but also launched a large-scale advertising campaign.

Yesterday, an impressive Redmi K40 advertisement was shown for the first time on huge screens located on the facade of the Chunxi Road building. Chunxi Road is a pedestrian shopping street in Chengdu, the capital of China’s Sichuan province, with over 700 stores including shopping malls, department stores, supermarkets and street stalls.

Redmi has announced the base model based on the Snapdragon 870 with a 48MP camera and the Redmi K40 Pro and K40 Pro + based on the Snapdragon 888 with improved 64MP and 108MP cameras, respectively. All smartphones received 6.67-inch Super AMOLED screens with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 360 Hz touch layer polling rate. They also received batteries with a capacity of 4520 mA • h with support for 33-watt charging. At the same time, the 33-watt charging of the Redmi K40 turned out to be faster than the 66-watt adapter of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro.

Smartphones also received support for Wi-Fi 6E, infrared port, stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos sound enhancement technology, dual-band GPS module, NFC, as well as IP53 dust and moisture protection.
