The Graph team has released a new roadmap

The Graph team plans to deploy new blockchain-based data services, including AI-powered queries. The updates are part of The Graph’s new “New Era” roadmap for Web3.

According to a post on X (formerly Twitter), developers are going to introduce a new set of resources, including expanded data streaming services, larger language models for AI queries, new query languages, and verifiable data.

“The new roadmap details expanding The Graph’s ability to meet Web3’s growing data access needs, better serving developers and protocol contributors, and improving the overall simplicity and efficiency of the network,” The Graph said in a statement.

Project representatives stated that the project roadmap includes five main goals:

  • the world of data services;
  • empowering developers;
  • evolution and resilience of The Graph protocol;
  • optimized indexer performance;
  • interconnected data graph.

“The Graph is called the Google of the Web3 world for its indexing capabilities. As diverse data use cases evolve, The Graph protocol will exceed expectations and become the primary tool for solving needs. Our data will no longer be hostage to one company or group of companies,” the developers said.

The project team also mentioned the upcoming update to the Graph Horizon network. It is expected to make the protocol easier and more efficient to use.

In June 2023, The Graph began the final stage of migration to Arbitrum’s L2 network. According to the developers, it is aimed at reducing commissions, increasing transaction speed and protocol accessibility.
