Amid market uncertainties, quantitative funds appear as a more specific investment option. OQuantitative s are not yet very popular in Brazil, but they have the advantage of ensuring portfolio diversification.
These funds use predefined algorithms and mathematical models in which the choice of investments is made by robots. This is the big difference between conventional management and the management of quantitative funds.
However, like any investment, they also have their risks, such as market, credit and liquidity risks.
In The Great Investment Debate this Monday (12) will address whether, after all, quantitative funds represent opportunity or risk. For this, on the one hand, Ivan Barboza, managing partner of Ártica Asset Management, who sees this type of strategy as a risk and prefers more traditional funds. On the other hand, Maurício Carneiro, manager of Systematic Strategies at Garde, who defends the quantitative.
“The Great Debate – Investments” will always have the presence of two specialists with opposing views to debate the pros and cons of different investment options and solutions, as well as topics from the world of personal finance and the financial market.
The attraction is weekly and airs on Mondays at 8:50 pm.
