The Consul General of Greece in Mariupol, Manolis Androulakis, arrived in Athens this afternoon.
Manolis Androulakis left Bucharest at 16:30, with a flight of the company TAROM, to Athens, as it had become known with an announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Manolis Androulakis was received at the “Eleftherios Venizelos” Airport by the Deputy Minister in charge of Hellenes Abroad Andreas Katsaniotis, representing the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias, who is on a business trip and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It should be noted that yesterday, Saturday, the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis contacted the Consul General, congratulated him for the bravery he showed and thanked him for the services he offered. The Prime Minister will meet with Mr. Androulakis in the coming days.
