The Coinbase video appeared on the social network X July 31. It expresses dissatisfaction with the economic position of Great Britain. The video begins with the words: “We have no problem. There is no reason to complain. ” At the same time, destroyed houses and poor are shown, and it is also said that the goods became too expensive for the British. Advertising positions cryptocurrency, namely bitcoin, as a good alternative for people striving for financial independence and stability.

According to Armstrong, many British broadcasting companies considered this Coinbase message too politicized and misleading. The businessman did not specify which companies criticized the advertising video. According to Armstrong, these companies claim that Coinbase represents cryptocurrencies with a guaranteed solution to financial problems, and also depicts the British government in a gloomy light – even if political parties are not mentioned in the video.

Coinbase CEO assured that the EVERYTHING IS Fine only reflects the fears that many people experience about modern financial systems. Similar advertising has already been broadcast in the United States, Armstrong added.
