The head of Hezbollah was appointed a representative to Lebanon by the top leader of Iran, Ali Hameni

Hezbollah’s leader, Naim Kassem, was appointed as his representative to Lebanon, Iran’s top leader Ayatollah Ali Hameni, according to today’s announcement by local media in Iran. Tehran financially and militarily supports Lebanon Hezbollah, a Shiite political party that has an armed wing and opposes Israel, a sworn enemy of current power in Iran. “The leader of the revolution presented Sheikh Naim Kassem, Hezbollah Secretary -General, as a spokesman for Lebanon,” said the Tasnim news agency, citing the document.
