Tehran financially and militarily supports Lebanon Hezbollah, a Shiite political party that has an armed wing and opposes Israel, a sworn enemy of current power in Iran. “The leader of the revolution presented Sheikh Naim Kassem, Hezbollah Secretary -General, as a spokesman for Lebanon,” said the Tasnim news agency, citing the document.
