As it became known, the popular YouTube platform blocked the official channel of the head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov.
YouTube blocked my channel. Honestly, don’t care. Moreover, the American platform does not comply with Russian laws. They just once again showed what their spells about “freedom of speech” are worth. But we already know this.
Sergei Aksenov

In response to this action, Sergei Aksyonov called the YouTube video hosting a deceitful and malicious tool and called on Roskomnadzor to block it in Russia. Roskomnadzor has already demanded that YouTube restore access to the channel of the head of the Republic of Crimea Aksyonov, as well as explain the reason for such actions.
Sergey Aksyonov’s YouTube page was created in 2015, it hosted digests, news stories, official congratulations, comments, TV recordings and interviews.
Earlier, the press service of YouTube reported that due to a special operation on the territory of Ukraine, video hosting would block channels around the world related to Russian media financed by the state.
