The American media company LEBUL bought exclusive rights to develop and sell the history of British James Hauwells, who lost a hard drive with 7500 BTC.
12 years of planning to search and fight the municipal authorities will serve as the basis for the “multi-platform media project”, which includes a documentary series, podcast and content for social networks.
The series was called “Buried Bitcoin: the real treasure hunt of James Hawells” (The Burved Bitcoin: The Real-Life Treasure Hunt about James Howells).
According to the press release, the project has already interested international sponsors, “crypto-leaders” and streaming platforms.
In 2013, Hawells was mistaken in the garbage tank with a bitcoin pitch of Hawells, and then, along with the rest of the waste, was taken to a landfill.
Since then, the Briton has repeatedly attempted to return the device: he offered the authorities money, as well as searches using X -ray scanning and robops from Boston Dynamics.
Experts believe that the probability of finding a hard drive on a landfill and extracting data from it is close to zero.
