The newest horror film produced by the filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan (“Trap”, “The Sixth Sense”) premiered this Thursday (10). Starring the actor Dylan O’Brien (“Maze Runner”, “Teen Wolf”), the feature film is titled “The Horrors of Caddo Lake” and is available on the Max streaming platform.
The plot features the mysterious disappearance of an eight-year-old girl, which ends up triggering a series of deaths. According to the official synopsis, enigmas from the past begin to connect, forever changing the story of a broken family.
The film’s cast also includes Eliza Scanlen, Diana Hopper, Caroline Falk, Sam Hennings, Eric Lange and Lauren Ambrose.
The inspiration for the story came when the directors of the work Celine Held and Logan George They discovered a photograph of Caddo Lake on the internet, a real location located in the United States, which led them to make several visits to the forest on the border between Texas and Louisiana.
