With editions in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia drink brand celebrates three years of the event of the event in Brazil with the Japanese Listening Bars as inspiration.
Entitled The House of Souro Experience 2025: Hibiki and Roku Listening Sessions explores the relationship between sound and taste, in an activation of the five senses. There will be two distinct sessions: Hibiki Listening Sessions, which celebrates the musical strand of Japanese jazz that gave rise to the Listening Bars movement in Japan, harmonized to the most awarded whiskey of The House of Souro, and Roku Listening Sessions, which will transport the guests through the cultural richness of Japanese electronic music, Harmonized to Roku Gin .
Based on studies that indicate that sound frequencies influence the perception of tastes and flavors, the event will present this connection between tradition and innovation, offering a new perspective on the rituals of Japanese cocktail.
Listening Bars: Where Music and Tasting are
In this edition, Musical Curatoria is due to Camilo Rocha the cocktail is signed by Alex Mesquita and the omotanashi philosophy is incorporated in the sessions with the consulting of Yasmin Yonashiro . The event will take place in three cities, with exclusive experiences and gastronomic excellence in the Kotchi bar in São Paulo; node Elena Horto in Rio de Janeiro, and in Brasilia. Jazz Hibiki Session and Electronic Roku Session, will be two distinct sessions that celebrate the iconic brands of Whiskey and Gin, respectively, from The House of Sugar.

A multisensory experience
The sensory experience lived in the Hibiki and Roku Listening Sessions explore the relationship between sound frequencies and the taste perception of five tastes – Sweet, salty, sour, bitter and umami – enhanced by especially selected sounds. Higher frequencies, such as those of a piano, emphasize the sweetness, while medium sounds, typical of breath instruments, sharpen the salty taste. Acute sounds from metal instruments accentuate acidity, and low frequencies intensify bitterness. For UMAMI, bass sounds are used, with touches of subgraves. In addition, each taste will be represented by a color inspired by Japanese symbolism: Magenta for Sweet, Light Yellow for Salty, Green-Green to Azedo, dark green to bitter and purple for Umami. This way, guests and customers will have a multisensory experience that unites sound, tastes and culture. Kampai!
