The Human Rights Observatory calls on the EU and the UK not to treat the Balkans as a “warehouse for immigrants”

The Non -Governmental Organization of Human Rights Observatory (HRW) warns today that the European Union and the United Kingdom must stop treating the Balkans “as a warehouse for immigrants” and review their plans to transform third countries into such warehouses to send them there for the EU. Its borders, through a mechanism that allows Member States to open these centers to countries outside the EU to send persons whose asylum request has been rejected or who are obliged to leave their territory.
