The Hyundai Nexo is one of the newest hydrogen production vehicles on the market. It was released in 2018, but since then this segment has practically not been replenished with new models.
The other day Hyundai Nexo with Brendan Reeves at the wheel set a new cruising range record, having driven 887.5 km against 666 km declared by the automaker. Interestingly, the previous record of 778 km was also set on the Nexo.

It is worth noting that the negotiated distance was shown by the on-board computer of the car, while a separate GPS unit showed 903.4 km.
The record was set in Australia. The total travel time was just over 13 hours at an average speed of 66.9 km / h. During the journey, the car spent 6.27 kg of hydrogen, purifying, according to Hyundai, almost 450,000 liters of air, which is enough for 33 people per day.
