Mitsubishi shipped the final batch of fourth generation Mitsubishi Pajero vehicles, which included a total of 800 vehicles. This batch, dubbed the Final Edition, was sold in Australia, marking the end of the legendary series.
In general, the company began to say goodbye to the fourth generation Mitsubishi Pajero a couple of years ago. In Japan and Europe, sales stopped in the spring of 2019, and in the fall of the same year, the last batch of 500 cars was released on the Russian market, which received the Final Edition logos, and the owners received personalized certificates.

Car production was completely stopped only in March 2021. Cars sold in Australia received special logos and floor mats, a plastic cargo liner, and a leather-braided user manual and service book. The vehicle is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, power and heated front seats, a 12-speaker audio system, a power sunroof and climate control.
Mitsubishi Pajero Final Edition is equipped with a 192 hp 3.2-liter turbodiesel engine, which works in conjunction with a 5-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.

Following the suspension of production of Mitsubishi Pajero, the Japanese plant where the car was produced will be closed.
