Xiaomi today unveiled a number of new devices, including the Xiaomi Mesh System AX3000 dual router system for covering large houses, as well as the new Mi Smart Projector 2.
Some homes may not be fully connected to the Internet with a single router. For these purposes, the Xiaomi Mesh System AX3000 kit of two devices is presented, which is enough to cover houses with an area of up to 370 m2 and service for up to 254 devices.
The Xiaomi Mesh System AX3000 uses Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and 2×2 MIMO for fast connection between two points and devices connected to them. A set of two routers will cost 150 euros.
The Xiaomi Mi Smart Projector 2 was also presented at a price of 600 euros. It can display an image with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and the image size ranges from 60 inches (1.6m from the wall) to 120 inches (3.2m). There is an HDMI port on the back with Dolby Audio support, as well as a 3.5mm jack if you want to connect external speakers or headphones.
The device runs Android TV, so you can install various streaming services directly to the projector, use DLNA or another wireless content sharing system. A USB 2.0 port allows you to quickly project photos from a flash drive. Google Assistant supports voice commands.
