Mondelēz International, Inc. announced today that the integration of Chipita Global, the fastest growing and leading company in the baked snacks category in Central and Eastern Europe, has been completed.
According to the announcement, the acquisition, completed in January 2022, enables Mondelēz International to offer a broad portfolio of baked snacks in Europe, meeting growing consumer demand in this sector. Today Chipita’s products reach two billion consumers in more than 50 countries and strong growth has already been seen since the acquisition. Global consolidation in the baked snack category will accelerate Mondelēz International’s growth trajectory as it continues to strengthen its position in the snack sector in Europe.

Konstantinos Sotiropoulos is an executive with extensive experience and deep knowledge of the market. He was Head of Chipita in Hungary and Ukraine and General Commercial Director in Russia and more recently in Poland.
