The interview with the three judges: the best of MasterChef according to them

There is no doubt that this for the judges of Masterchef Italy was the consecration edition, in case anyone ever needed it. The trio formed by Antonino Cannavacciuolo, Bruno Barbieri and Giorgio Locatelli it is probably the most convincing we have seen in running the Sky cooking show produced by Endemol Shine Italy. The three chef-hosts work individually, of course, but this also applied to Joe Bastianich or Carlo Cracco. The thing is, they mostly function as a group. There is harmony, there is friendship (just in the last episode Cannavacciuolo declared that Barbieri is “one of his best friends”, making him blush and gloat with joy) and this, in the dynamics of a program like Masterchef, can only be noticed and benefit the general result.

Even in an edition, this twelfth, in which – it must be said – the competitors have perhaps not (yet) shone for ability and flair, the feeling of the magical trio compensated with the Neapolitan irony of Cannavacciuolo, the precise frown of the colorful Barbieri, the kindness and the British aplomb of Locatelli. A combination that has proved successful, and that we have decided to celebrate on the eve of the last episode of this twelfth edition.

The final of Masterchef Italia 12 will in fact be broadcast Thursday 2 March at 21.15 on Sky Uno and streaming on NOW: in the meantime, we thought we’d ask the judges a few questions, borrowing the format of the double (triple, in this case) interviews created by the Trio Medusa.
