“The Invisible Victim: The Eliza Samudio Case” premieres on Netflix this Thursday (26)

The new Brazilian true crime “The Invisible Victim: The Eliza Samudio Case “ arrived in the catalog of Netflix this Thursday (26). The production will report the murder of Eliza Samudio and the involvement of former goalkeeper Bruno in this case.

According to Netflix, the film “brings to light previously unseen details of the case that were overlooked at the time.” The documentary is being released 14 years after the crime.

The documentary, according to the synopsis, will address the events that preceded Eliza Samudio’s disappearance, from her perspective.

According to the release, the production had access to the young woman’s personal conversations and messages. The film will also show the investigation into the case, which showed that the then goalkeeper and captain of Flamengo, Bruno, was responsible for the death. Eight people were convicted of the crime, which involved kidnapping and murder.

Eliza Samudio’s body, however, was never found.
