The joint venture of the Italian TRAINOSE with the DAMCO of the Kopelouzos Group has submitted a binding offer for the concession of Thriasios II. At present, it remains unknown whether another offer has been submitted.

Thriasio II concerns a property of approximately 1,450 acres, owned by OSE, in which railway infrastructure, access roads, sorting station, cargo storage areas, customs and office premises, as well as storage and other storage areas have been constructed and exist.

The concession contract that will be concluded will have as object the execution of the technical project (completion of studies, construction of works and supply of equipment) of the railway terminal, as well as the provision of services, operation, maintenance and operation during the concession period.

The duration of the concession contract, including the period of execution of the technical project, was set at 30 years.

It is noted that, if finally the bid submitted meets the criteria of the tender and the project is led to the TRAINOSE consortium, then the company further strengthens its position on the Greek railway, as it will have, in addition to rail passenger and freight services and technical services and railway terminal.
