Emergency license at Johnson & Johnson vaccine (J&J) against COVID-19 was given by the competent health service in Mexico COFEPRIS, as announced by the Deputy Minister of Health Hugo Lopez Gatel.
“This authorization for urgent use confirms that the vaccine has the conditions of quality, safety and efficacy, which are necessary for its use,” COFEPRIS said in a separate statement, as broadcast by AMPE.
Earlier yesterday Mexico reported more than 3,000 new cases of infection from COVID-19.
