As it became known, the South Korean company will release the Kia EV6 electric crossover in several trim levels, including EV6 Air, EV6 Earth, EV6 Light and EV6 Water.
The respective trademarks were registered for use in Europe last week. There have been no official comments from Kia so far, but EV6 Air and GT-Line models have already been confirmed on Kia’s UK website.
The Kia EV6 Air will be the entry-level model starting at £ 33,537. This crossover is equipped with a 77.4 kWh battery and a 226 horsepower electric motor that drives only the rear wheels. The all-wheel drive Kia EV6 GT-Line with the same 77.4 kWh battery has two electric motors with a total capacity of 321 hp.
The Kia EV6 Air is also offered in Spain, where it is also the base model, but with different characteristics: in addition to the 226 hp version. there will be an option for 167 hp. In Spain there will be front and rear wheel drive versions of the EV6 GT-Line, as well as the EV6 GT all-wheel drive with a maximum output of 576 hp.
Obviously, the company has prepared a variety of trim levels for different countries of the world, the details of which should be published in the coming weeks.
