Kobo has introduced the Elipsa e-book, which has become the largest in the Kobo range. It uses an E Ink display measuring 10.3 inches diagonally.
The screen resolution is 1404 x 1872 pixels. Based on the size of the screen, the pixel density is 227 ppi. The brightness of the screen is adjustable. There is an inverse mode, in which white text is displayed on a black background.

A pen is included with which you can add notes and comments to texts. The touch screen is pressure sensitive. In the settings, you can choose the type of pen, shade and line size. Two buttons on the pen allow you to switch it to erase or select mode. With the notebook function, you can take notes and convert them to text files. There is also Dropbox support for importing and exporting files.
The device weighs 383g, has 32GB of storage and comes with a SleepCover. Like other Kobo e-books, the Elipsa has access to the OverDrive service, which allows you to borrow books from libraries. Alternatively, you can use your device to read articles that you save in the Pocket app.
The pre-orders for the Kobo Elipsa have already started at a price of $ 400. Shipments to the United States, Japan and several other countries will begin on June 24th.
