Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that Russia is in contact with all sides in the region and said Moscow condemns any action that causes civilian deaths. This situation is developing according to the most alarming scenario, Peskov said. “We call on all sides to exercise restraint in the background of what is happening. And of course, we condemn any actions that lead to the death of civilians”.
