The Kremlin Has Secured A Ban On Navalny’s Organization. While Temporary

So far, Russia has temporarily banned the activities of one of the public organizations of Alexei Navalny, a political opponent of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The lawyers of the Anti-Corruption Foundation, the main structure of the opposition, announced this in their Telegram.

It is about organizing Navalny’s Headquarters. The Moscow City Court suspended its activities pending a decision on the claim for recognition as extremist. Now this structure of Navalny is prohibited from posting materials on the network, holding public events, participating in elections and referenda.

The prosecutor’s office demands to pause the work of other structures of Navalny – the Anti-Corruption Fund and the Fund for the Protection of Citizens’ Rights. The issue is being resolved.
