Volkswagen has announced the start of accepting orders for the updated Teramont crossover in Russia. As the manufacturer notes, this is the largest car model in the Volkswagen lineup.
The updated Volkswagen Teramont is available to Russian users in four trim levels: Respect at a price of 3,846,000 rubles, Status – from 4,087,000 rubles, Exclusive – from 4,247,000 rubles, and R-Line – from 4,343,000 rubles.
The car with three rows of seats is designed for seven people. The maximum luggage compartment volume with the third row of seats folded is 1,571 liters, and with the second and third rows folded, the volume can reach 2,741 liters.
For the Russian market, the model is offered with two gasoline engines: R4 TSI 220 hp. and VR6 FSI 249 hp, which are complemented by an 8-speed automatic transmission and 4Motion all-wheel drive.
All versions are equipped with LED all-weather headlights with static cornering illumination, LED rear lights, tinted rear windows and an aspherical exterior mirror on the driver’s side, as well as a cold climate package (battery and high power generator).

All versions also feature Electronic Stability Program (ESP), including Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Assist, Electronic Differential Lock (EDL), Traction Control (ASR) and Engine Traction Torque Control (EDTC), Hill Climbing Assist and downhill, electromechanical parking brake, 4Motion Active Control and Tire Pressure Monitoring.
There are new driver assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, as well as Side Assist with Rear Traffic Alert, Front Assist with Integrated City Emergency Braking,
In emergency situations, the car independently applies the brakes. The additional Pedestrian Monitoring system will warn about pedestrians, and under certain circumstances can automatically brake if the driver does not respond to warnings.
All Teramont versions are offered with the Discover Media navigation system with an 8-inch color touchscreen display, 6 speakers and voice control. The car has 12V sockets in the front and rear of the center console and in the luggage compartment, 2 USB Type-C connectors for the front passengers, a USB charging connector on the rear of the center console, as well as wireless charging of a mobile phone.
