Sources have published real photos of the latest flagship smartphones of the South Korean company LG, which are passing under the working names LG Rollable and LG Rainbow.
The LG Rollable is the company’s first smartphone with a stretchable screen and is shown folded. As for the LG Rainbow, it should come out under the name LG V70, however, the sources on this account differ.
LG yesterday confirmed that it is closing its mobile business unit. Existing phones will continue to be sold, but the company expects to phase out its mobile business entirely by July 31st. Some sources believe that the LG V70 will be released in May-June this year, while it has already been tested in the AI Benchmark benchmark, where it turned out to be faster than other flagships on the Snapdragon 888.
According to Gizmochina, the LG V70 smartphone, like the LG Rollable, will not see the light of day. Against the background of the fact that the manufacturer is closing the mobile division, the release of all new smartphones has been canceled.
So far, LG has not made a statement about the fate of these smartphones. But even if they are released, smartphones are unlikely to have many willing buyers, given the fate of the brand.
