The Russian government has approved a new list of applications and services that must be installed on smartphones, tablets, PCs and smart TVs.

Applications from the new list will become mandatory for installation on equipment sold in Russia from January 1, 2022. There are two major changes in the new document.
First, the requirements now apply to Apple computers – desktops and laptops with macOS, not just Windows PCs. Also, the OK Video service has been added to the list of mandatory software for TVs. Thus, the lists of required software now look like this.
