The statistics of Mindfactory, the largest retailer in Germany, have been published on the Web on sales of video cards for the fifth week of this year (from January 31 to March 6). And this time there is one important point: for the first time, sales were led by an above-average Ampere graphics card: the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti sold 420 units in seven days – almost the same number were sold by the budget Radeon RX 6600 and Radeon RX 6600 XT combined. Interestingly, out of the total number of GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, 290 pieces fell on only one model – the MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Gaming X Trio.

The second point that should be noted is the vigorous start of sales of the GeForce RTX 3050. The video card instantly burst into the top 5, settling in fourth position with a result of 205 video cards sold. For comparison, another budget novelty, the Radeon RX 6500 XT, is only in 12th place with a result of 110 units sold.

Of the top models, the Radeon RX 6900 XT is still ahead – 150 pieces were sold in a week. The GeForce RTX 3090, RTX 3080 Ti, and RTX 3080 are lower in the list, but their total sales are more than 200 units. In general, the market share of AMD video cards, based on Mindfactory statistics, is 36.47%. The share of Nvidia is 63.53%.
