The Maersk Maritime Transfer Company (Maerskb.co) announced on Friday that it is temporarily suspended its ships in the port of Haifa in Israel due to the escalation of the country’s collision with Iran. The Danish company, one of the largest shipping in the world, said it has not encountered any other disorders in its scheduled work in the area. Maersk’s announcement also states that “the security of our seafarers and our businesses is a top priority. We have taken this precautionary measure to protect our people, our assets and the loads of our customers, due to the increased instability in the area.
