OPPO has released a new teaser for the Reno9 series of flagship smartphones, which will debut on November 24. In it, the developers seem to have shown a key software feature of the upcoming new products – long-term storage of applications in the background so that they do not unload even after many hours. In the Android world, this is considered a big problem, especially for Chinese shells (they tend to have overly aggressive background activity control systems built into them).
In its teaser, OPPO launched 30 applications on the smartphone and left them in the background for 8 hours – after this time, all of them remained active, that is, they were not updated when they were restarted. At the end of the commercial, a modification to 16 GB of RAM is mentioned – apparently, that is how much RAM is needed to achieve such a result.
However, the company managed to achieve it not without the help of optimizing the new ColorOS 13 shell – Reno9 series smartphones will be equipped with it out of the box.
