The mall’s terrace became “Rainbow”: Impressive images and videos

Above the rainbow invites the world the colorful intervention of the office 100architects on a roof terrace in Chagsha Of China. “Over the Rainbow” brings to life an unused terrace of a commercial building in the Chinese city, combining art, play and social interaction. It invites all ages to explore this fashionable outdoor meeting and relaxation area.

Taking advantage of the arched roof, the designers of 100architects used parallel stripes of color to form a rainbow. With a different color, each of them functions as platforms that host different functions and features. The lanes are initially two-dimensional traffic signals on the floor and sometimes become three-dimensional objects forming benches or structures for play.

The whole system of lanes becomes three-dimensional as it rises to form an “amphitheater” of citizens, with an amphitheater overlooking the Xiang River. In addition, according to the Athenian-Macedonian News Agency, vertical walls with geometric patterns and motifs catch the attention of visitors and become attractive places for selfies intended for posting on social media.

To complete the fun on the terrace, the 100architects office included a 12-meter spiral slide, which starts from the roof on the sixth floor and ends on the fifth terrace. Overall, the intervention on the roof created a whole lot of colors and a very exciting hub for the community of Kaifu district right at the top of the Changsha Beichen Delta Joy City mall.
