The man who opened fire in a bank in Kentucky was facing psychological problems

THE 23 year old Conor Sturgeon who opened fire on bank in Kentucky of USA he was suffering from “mental health issues” but “there were no warning signs or indications that he was capable” of causing such bloodshed, television network WDRB reported.

The family of the perpetrator confirmed that he had unstable mental health, while issuing a statement, where he stated that “there are no words to express the grief, pain and horror we feel at the unimaginable evil that our son, Connor, caused to innocent people, their families and the entire Louisville community,” the statement reads.

Also, points out that he has many unanswered questions and pledges to fully cooperate with the police to help clarify the motive for the attack and the circumstances under which it took place.

The 23-year-old bank employee, who he shot and killed five of his colleagues and injured nine other people at the Old National Bank branch where he worked, he had legally purchased the assault rifle he used in the attack, Louisville Police Chief Jacqueline Gwin-Villaroel said. The gun had been purchased from a store on April 4, he said.

The gunman was fatally wounded by police fire. According to CNN, Conor Sturgeon he had just been informed that he would be fired.

Monday’s attack brought to 40 the number of gun deaths in Louisville since the start of the year, according to Mayor Greenberg, who renewed his call for tougher gun control measures.
