«Just married in a RUSH!»: only the Maneskin they could organize a wedding for four for the launch of their album (due out on January 20) and on Instagram they capture the moment of yes with an already iconic shot.
Victoria and Ethan dressed as brides (complete with veil and cut out transparencies) e Damiano and Thomas in wedding dress, all strictly in white, exchange passionate kisses at the altar of Palazzo Brancaccio in Rome. The happy event made this January 19th an already cult date, with a special celebrant, the former creative director of GucciAlexander Michael, who took care of the most impactful looks. “Damiano, Ethan, Thomas and Victoria – he asked them – do you want to get married promising to be faithful to each other always, in joy and in pain, in love and in honor every day of your lives?”. The answer, in unison, was a thunderous: «Yes». The rite ended with an invocation to Apollo, god of musicwhich sealed the commitment of musicians’ poker (in spite of the alleged air of crisis circulated after Victoria’s absence at Damiano’s birthday party).
Spotify Global’s musical wedding has called a parterre of famous guests that includes Baz Luhrmann (director of Elviswho wanted them in the soundtrack of the biopic with Austin Butler and who was in the front row to applaud them for the occasion), Paolo Sorrentino, Machine Gun Kelly, Manuel Agnelli, Benedetta Porcaroli, the players of Roma (whom Damiano cheers passionate and for which he found himself at the center of more than one controversy) Paulo Dybala and Lorenzo Pellegrini, Elisa and Sabrina Impacciatore, now stars after the success of The White Lotus 2the series on Sky and NOW shot in Sicily.
The set up is worthy of a hollywood partyamong flowers, candelabras, candles and of course the red carpet (like the band’s four bouquets made of roses and the velvet stools they sat on during the ceremony). All black instead the cake (with four figurines on top) and rice, strictly thrown after the exchange of rings.
Visibly amused but also excited, Måneskin celebrated the arrival of the new album Rush! in their own way, with this top secret but also highly spoilered event.
The clues, in fact, were already in the air when the guitarist played a rock-version wedding march from a terrace overlooking the Imperial Forums. And Fedezone of the highly selected guestshad shared the dress code of the invitation, namely «Rock in love».
