The Måneskin in Cannes, rest with a view of the sea after a star welcome

If you ask the guests about the exclusive party organized by Warner Bros. for the Cannes presentation of Elvis, the new film by Baz Luhrmann dedicated to the King of Rock, it is very likely that they would tell you that they took more selfies with the Måneskin, involved in the soundtrack, than with the lead actor Austin Butler. The golden moment of the all-Italian band continues, in fact, breaking down more and more barriers and going further and further: and so, after Coachella, the return to Eurovision which consecrated them to Rotterdam in 2021 and a new visit to Tonight Show by Jimmy Fallon, this time Damiano, Victoria, Ethan and Thomas land for the first time at the Cannes Film Festival walking the red carpet with their sparkling Gucci dresses and enjoying the sun of the Croisette hunted by photographers.

Far from the frenzy that the crowds show towards them at every public and private appearance, the moment in which the Måneskin can relax coincides with the visit to the Croisette, which allows them to soak up some sun and enjoy the tranquility before the whirlwind of the red carpet. With their white shirts, sunglasses and relaxed eyes – you can see that they are not yet 25 years old and that they have not yet succumbed to the dark circles that we mere mortals accumulate after spending the small hours for a night -, the Måneskin continue to lull themselves into the international success that welcomed them with open arms in 2021, when the consecration of Eurovision managed to open the doors of the international star system to them, succeeding where many bands and many Italian artists had failed.

The result of that commitment and dedication, which started from Via del Corso at Roma and then launched at supersonic speed in that of X Factor in 2017, it is crowned today with the crazy flashes of the Cannes Film Festival, managed to finally convert to pop after two years marked not only by the shadow of Covid, but also by a very nationalist imprint that had in fact barred the doors to the great names from Hollywood and the surrounding area. The Måneskin, for their part, continue to do theirs without giving in to the classic whims of divas, aware that as long as they remain with their feet on the ground they can still dream big.
