It just landed on Mars after a seven-month journey, but the Perseverance rover isn’t alone: the web has thought of “keeping him company”, with thousands of memes that, in the first images he unveiled of the Red Planet, place with him some of the most loved and talked about characters of the moment (some of the funniest in the gallery above) .
The first is Bernie Sanders: after having arrived everywhere, the Democratic senator could not fail to go to Mars too (naturally with his folding chair and his muslins).
Among the characters that appear most often in memes also the Queen Elizabeth, Elon Musk, which now with SpaceX is planning new space travel, and then i Teletubbies, ET and Dart Vader of Star Wars. Italians? There are many: for example the former prime minister Giuseppe Conte, Foreign Minister Di Maio who sets foot on Mars under the motto of «Never with the Martians», even Matteo Salvini and Giorgia Meloni together again (at least on the Red Planet).
