An 80-year-old American woman died tragically when an elephant attacked a vehicle she was riding in, along with other tourists, during a safari in Zambia. As can be seen in the shocking video of the attack, the elephant rushes into the tourist van and overturns it, causing the 80-year-old to lose her life. The woman was among six tourists from the Wilderness Zambia group on a wildlife forest excursion, according to the Telegraph. “At around 9.30am on Saturday morning the tourists were on a forest tour when the vehicle was unexpectedly attacked by the elephant,” Wilderness Zambia chief executive Keith Vincent said in a statement. The chilling document recorded a passenger in the vehicle. The elderly woman later died from her serious injuries, while another woman remains in hospital in a critical condition.
