A church treasurer from Pennsylvania has been accused of embezzling $ 150,000 from the temple to fund his porn addiction.
Glenn Yothers, 56, stole money from Lutheran church, saying that with these he paid the bills of the temple and did charity work.
According to a report by the local station WPXI, citing police sources, Yothers, however, gave the money to pornographic content sites, in a period of 4 years, which ended in 2019.
The treasurer even left the church leaving it on the edge of the padlock, because of debts.
“One of the things that led to the investigation of the case was the fact that the church bills were stopped being paid. None of this went to charity. “They were going for his personal pleasure, for his own use only,” said local police spokesman Steve Limani.
