The Moscow Arbitration Court arrested the accounts of the Russian office of the American PC manufacturer Dell for 778.6 million rubles at the suit of the Talmer system integrator due to the failure to provide technical support services for cloud services of the American company VMware in Russia.

“Take protective measures. Seize property and funds, including funds that will be credited to all open bank accounts of Dell LLC in the amount of 778,576,223 rubles 21 kopecks. Issue a writ of execution. The ruling may be appealed within a month to the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal”– says the ruling of the court from the filing cabinet of arbitration cases.
System integrator Talmer sued the Russian structure of Dell in early April. The plaintiff made an advance payment for the provision by Dell LLC of services for the technical support of cloud services of the American VMware in Russia, but Dell did not fulfill its obligations. Talmer accused the Russian division of Dell of unjust enrichment and demanded to recover the debt.
Dell LLC is the official representative of VMware in Russia and, in fact, resells VMware technical support services, the court ruling specifies. “At the same time, despite the termination of the provision of services by WMvare in the Russian Federation, the defendant did not take any action on an alternative method of fulfilling obligations and did not return the advance payments to Talmer LLC”is specified in the definition.
Recall, earlier it became known that the Moscow Arbitration Court seized the property and accounts of the Russian office of Google in the amount of 500 million rubles.
