Users of the Windows 10 operating system suddenly started complaining about serious problems with the work of Google Chrome – the browser constantly crashes.
Other users cannot close the browser, some tabs and extensions crash. Interestingly, such a massive and sudden crash is observed mainly in the version of Chrome 90 for Windows 10 and in some Linux users, while the fresh version of the browser for macOS continues to function correctly.

There are only three steps you need to take to get the Chrome update and resolve issues:
- Close all Chrome windows.
- Restart Chrome and leave it open for about 5 minutes, even if it doesn’t work.
- After 5 minutes, exit and restart Chrome. The crashes should now be resolved.
According to StatCounter statistics, as of April 2021, Chrome accounts for 64.47% of the international browser market, followed by Safari with a huge gap of 18.69%.
