The movies that hit Brazilian theaters this week

Anime fans can rejoice as this week’s big debut is the new chapter in a franchise that has marked generations: “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero”.

The blockbuster saga turned television series, video game and movie originated from manga (Japanese comic book) and was a big hit in the 1990s and 2000s.

In the plot, survivors of the Red Ribbon army – destroyed by Goku -, form an evil organization that seeks revenge with new and more powerful androids, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, and go after Piccolo and Gohan.

Another highlight in the cinema schedule is the Brazilian film “45 of the Second Half” . The comedy starring Tony Ramos, Cássio Gabus Mendes and Ary França, brings three school friends who are reunited after 40 years.

Between jokes and outbursts, one of them announces that he intends to take his own life, but not before seeing the team he loves win.

“Bigger than the World” is yet another Brazilian novelty on display, which has Eriberto Leão, Maria Flor and Luana Piovani in the cast. The film follows the journey of a writer looking for inspiration for his new novel.

Highlights like “Bullet train” “The Speaker”, “Elvis”, “The Black Telephone”, “Dad is Pop” and more are still showing in theaters.
