Five musicians belonging to the band “Grupe Fugitivo” were found murdered, a few days after their disappearance in the Northern Reinosa city of Mexico, near the border with the United States. Authorities attribute their murder to members of a well -known vaginal cartel. According to Tamulipas State Attorney General Irving Barios Mohika, nine suspected cartel members were arrested, while nine firearms and two vehicles were found in their possession. According to the BBC, the band was abducted on May 25, while they went to a concert. Their relatives reported that they had received threatening phone calls for ransom, but so far the exact motive of the murder has not been clarified.
