The mystery of little Madeleine’s disappearance “can be solved in months”

The German prosecutor who leads the investigation into the case of the disappearance of the little girl appears optimistic Madeleine McCann, emphasizing that the mystery “can be solved in the coming months”.

According to Hans Christian Walters, his team has received “very interesting information”, but there are still questions that need to be answered.

“We hope we can solve the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, even though it will take a few months. We are pleased with the response to our call for witnesses. “Unfortunately, not all of our questions have been answered,” the prosecutor told Britain’s The Mirror.

According to Walter, the suspect Christian Bruckner will be interrogated at the end of the investigation. He added that the public will be informed about the result and additional details once this research is completed.

The 3-year-old Madeline, known as Mandy, disappeared while on holiday in Portugal on May 3, 2007. She was put to bed by her twin brothers while her parents were having dinner at a nearby restaurant with friends.

THE Bruckner, 44, who has been convicted of rape, lived in a van near the spot at the time of the mysterious disappearance.

Last June, German and British police revealed that Bruckner was a suspect, finding his possible connection to the case in 2017. He is currently serving a prison sentence in a German prison on charges unrelated to the Madeleine case.

Bruckner’s phone was used near the spot where Madeleine disappeared, an hour before her parents realized she was missing. Walters said his team could not find who the suspect called that night.

Bruckner has denied any connection to the girl’s disappearance, so far refusing to speak.

Walters, who believes that Madeline is dead, says authorities have not spoken to the girl’s parents. Last month, The parents said they had little hope of seeing their daughter again, as it was 14 years since her disappearance.
