The Mystery of the “Lost German”: The woman who shocked the world

For years, since the shots appeared in television documentaries and on the internet, the identity and fate of the so -called “Lost German Girl – LGG) have captured the public. Dressed in an unspecified uniform and a swollen face testified that she had been beaten wildly, the woman appears to walk on a way of liberated Czechoslovakia. The date was May 7, 1945, the day that Nazi Germany surrendered to the Allies, following the suicide of Adolf Hitler in his refuge in Berlin. As the prisoner of German soldiers abandoned their positions, the Russian soldiers went from the opposite direction, with the US army being present to record the chaos. The video that includes the woman was shot by American captain Oren W.
